Excellent dental care is achievable. We look at each person individually and after thorough examination, will provide a treatment plan for your needs.
The dental needs of each individual are different.
Childhood
From childhood to adulthood treatment is focused on prevention of dental diseases. Most children can go through life without any fillings. Besides routine dental checkups, scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatment, orthodontic braces are the next main concern.
Early Adulthood
Initial signs of gum disease usually present itself in early adulthood. This is the age group where such a problem can be easily eliminated. The wisdom tooth is another common issue. Again this is the best time to intervene, as the newly formed wisdom tooth is easily removed.
Early Thirties
The stress of life usually takes a toll on people in the early thirties, especially for those who do not have regular dental checkups. Some people grind their teeth badly, some have neglected their wisdom teeth, causing damage to the neighbouring teeth. Others may suffer from with early bone loss due to gum disease.
Roaring Forties
People in the “roaring” forties present the dentists with the most challenging problems. By then a fair number of people would have lost some teeth, through decay or poor dental hygiene. Gum disease, if present would be at an advanced stage, leading to further tooth loss. Even people with good dentition will develop cracks in their teeth, through all the years of function. This is the crucial age group where most treatment is needed.
